A little sore today

Well last night I really worked out.  With alternating days between upper body and lower body, last night was upper body.  I pushed myself more than I did Monday night and I can feel it today.  My triceps are killing me and it was hard just lifting my backpack and bag of food into the Jeep when I headed to work.  I follow the Body for Life workout so for each muscle group I workout I do the following:

  • 12 reps
  • Wait 1 minute
  • Increase weight and do 10 reps
  • Wait 1 minute
  • Increase weight and do 8 reps
  • Wait 1 minute
  • Increase weight and do 6 reps
  • Wait 1 minute
  • Decrease weight and do 12 reps
  • Wait 1 minute
  • Keep the weight the same and do 12 reps

Those last two 12 reps is what burns!!!!
